iPad broke - now what?


Hi there! 

If an iPad physically breaks, the home button gets stuck, screen is shattered, won't charge, etc. Please continue to notify us via IT ticket. 

1 - Send us a picture with a small description on how it occurred.
2 - Include the broken iPad serial # - this way we can free up its license and keep an accurate inventory of functional iPads.
3 - Continue to store the broken iPad until we notify you it's available for recycling (send to HQ) 

However, if an iPad screen is not shattered and the issue is software related. Please also notify us via IT ticket. If slower/older iPads are just 'set aside' and we are not notified, we will assume your center has X amount of functional iPads. 

1 - Describe what's wrong with it, missing apps, locked by prior employee, unable to update to latest software, etc. 
2 - Oftentimes the issue can be remotely resolved.
3 - If the issue can't be resolved we will let you know if the iPad can be 'rescued' and if it needs to be sent back to HQ
